Hi, I'm Nicky. I have an OCN level 3 Diploma in dog grooming, am fully insured and qualified in canine first aid. As a dog owner myself, I realise the importance of knowing that my dogs are treated with care and compassion throughout their groom. My love of dogs led to me studying grooming and opening the Woof & Bubbles salon. You can rest assured that your dog will be treated with the same level of care and compassion as one of my own.
One thing that binds us all is our love of dogs, and with regular grooming, we can ensure they are healthy, free from discomfort and happy too.

Grooming is more than just keeping your dog looking and feeling good, it is vital for their health and wellbeing.

Grooming will:

1. Improve their appearance and smell.
A bath will not only remove unpleasant odours and dirt, they will emerge smelling fabulous. A groom will help tame those flyaway hairs, sort out messy bottoms and ensure your dog looks great too.

2. Keep their coat healthy whilst controlling shedding.
Regular brushing is great for the health of your dogs coat. Just like us, brushing increases the blood circulation under the fur, promoting healthy growth.

3. It's NOT just a bath and brush!
Many people assume grooming your dog is just a quick bath and brush. But in fact, a dog groom will address the following: prevent coat from becoming matted, Paws and pads regularly checked, clipped and tidied up - these areas in particular can become hard with dirt causing discomfort to your dog. Ears are regularly checked and cleansed, which helps prevent ear infections. Nails are checked and trimmed.

4. Check for health issues.
Grooming is the perfect opportunity for your dog to have a regular health check. A thorough examination prior to bathing can pick up any lumps, bumps, cuts, grazes or swellings that you may not have noticed during your day-to-day interactions with them. In addition, the ears, teeth, eyes and coat have a thorough check. They will also be checked for parasites.
